Friday 23 – Sunday 25: This weekend L and I visited L's sister K, in Nyköping. Arrived early evening on the Friday, and left for home mid-afternoon on the Sunday. Saturday we went for a long walk along the Nyköping Stream. Beautiful weather; just below freezing, some snowfall. On our way we passed Åke's TV Service (!). Tried to visit the new Sörmlands Museum, which was being inaugurated, but the queue outside was too long, so we went for coffee and pastries at the Mekka Café instead. In the evening we had a tasty dinner at Skafferiet restaurant. Sunday was chilly, but sunny. We took a stroll through the town – on Stora torget there was a UN Orange Day manifestation outside the City Hall – hundreds of shoes painted orange, to symbolize the fight against men's violence towards women – had lunch, and then took farewell of K and drove home to Uppsala.
