Early morning (6.55 am) I arrived at Uppsala Motor to have the Volvo serviced. While waiting, I had a free breakfast at the workshop café. Back home at 8.30, had a coffee and a read. In the afternoon I went to Segerstedthuset to meet up with L after work. In the main hall there was a glass box – The Lab (part of the Disciplinary Domain of Science and Technology) – inside of which five students were locked in for 24 hours. Their task was to solve different social and technological problems. Everything was broadcast live on YouTube, as well as being open to the public. Fun! L and I left at 6.30 pm, and we went to the Ticket travel agent to make arrangements for a visit to Iceland next year.
