This evening L and I went to the screening of the Funny Finland short films (part of the 37th Uppsala Short Film Festival). Finland and the Finns are not, to my knowledge, widely known as a country or a people displaying vast amounts of humor, so we were looking forward to having our stereotypical views challenged. And they certainly were challenged – we had a lot of fun watching these eight films. Otherwise, nothing much happened today. Went to Arrenius & company for a brew and to buy beans. Stayed a while chatting with Anders and customers. Met up with L at the Storken café, before going to the screening.
