After two days of baby-sitting, L and I decided to take it easy today. Slept late, had breakfast and a good read of the papers, before going out. Warm and sunny, like it has been since May. Scary, scary – climate change is here to stay. Anyway, we went to the Botanical Gardens where there was a lot going on. L visited the geranium hot house, and then we strolled over to the Farmers' Market. We bought tomatoes, black cabbage, and a bunch of chioggia beets. Had a coffee and some pastry. Back home we tended to our rather untamed pot plants, and L did some window cleaning.
