4 Hours & 2000 ml Saline Solution
Today I spent a total of five hours at the Akademiska hospital. The reason for this is that my blood pressure is too high, so the cause(s) for this is being investigated. First I had to lie down for an hour, so that my blood would become normalized as it were. Then a couple of vials were filled with blood for analysis, and then an IV catheter was inserted into my vein an I was connected to a drip machine. During the next four hours 2000 ml of saline solution was administered into my blood flow. Read the latest issue of LFI (Leica Fotografie International) and started on The Folly, the first novel by South-African writer Ivan Vladislavić. Next week I have an appointment with a physician to discuss the results of today's hospital visit.
