Today my former colleague Ola Winberg defended his dissertation, Den statskloka resan: Adelns peregrinationer 1610–1680, at the Humanities Theatre here in Uppsala. Big audience, great opponent, and a very interesting discussion. All went well, and Ola got his Ph D degree. Afterwards Ola offered lunch at the Feiroz restaurant at Campus Blåsenhus. In the evening there was a dinner party at Norrlands Nation. Great people. Great speeches. Lots of fun.
