After breakfast L and I took the train to Gävle, to visit the exhibition Speglingar ("Reflexions") by the Sami artist Britta Marakatt-Labba, at the art center Silvanum. Great textile art! Before going to the art center, we went for a walk through the city into the old town, with wooden houses dating back to the 18th century. At five o'clock we entered Matilda's restaurant for dinner. Fully booked! Fortunately they had a table seating six, that could not be booked. Good food. Friendly staff. Nice place. Highly recommended, but be sure to prebook your seating. A nice Saturday outing.
